Vinyasa Flow

The word “vinyasa” comes from the Sanskrit language, and it refers to the movement or “flow” between poses in a yoga sequence. You use your breath to help transition from one movement to the other. Vinyasa Flow combines Pranayama/breathing with music and a variety of poses that range from a novice to an intermediate level.

The classes are designed with an emphasis on alignment and the connection between your breath and your movement. By mastering the basic principles of the postures, you will be able to practice confidently. You will notice how your body becomes stronger and more flexible. You feel the effect of your practice emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The class will end with a blissful five minutes resting pose, called Savasana.
